On Friday, September 16, 2011, Bronwen & Ava officially had their first slumber party! We've been friends of the Tu's for about a year, as we met through our daughters (Chanel & Bronwen were in first grade together & are in the same class this year, too). Little did we know that it was Chanel's first time to spend the night at a friend's house!
I picked up the girls (all three, since Ava is big!) & we headed to McDonald's for Happy Meals! We got home & everyone decided to ride scooters & draw with chalk until Conrad got home. When he got home, we all dressed in our pjs & turned on the jumper in the backyard. The girls proceeded to make a disaster with play-doh outside!
After snacks & getting ready for bed, the girls went to Bronwen's room & saw the blow-up mattress all cozy with plenty of blankets, waiting for them. I heard them a few times at night (they were trying to be sneaky & go downstairs in the dark -for what, I don't know), but by 10 they were sound asleep.
They had a great time. :-) Here's to milestones!
